Communications Coordinator – AmeriCorps VISTA Member

 

The Michigan Community Service Commission, the state’s lead agency on volunteerism, is seeking individuals for a Communications Coordinator through the AmeriCorps Volunteers In Service to America (VISTA)  program.

 

Candidates will help develop and promote content for the Governor’s Service Awards and also help implement a statewide volunteerism marketing campaign, both of which will highlight inspiring stories of people helping others.

 

Tasks also may include social media, graphic design, videography, media relations and marketing for other volunteer initiatives.

 

There are openings for the summer and year-long positions of service.
