Social Media Specialist

Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a high-octane Social Media Specialist to take the wheel of our social presence and accelerate our brand story. ModMed is ready for a dedicated expert to step in, elevate our narrative, and turn our social channels into a high-growth engine for engagement. This contract-to-hire role is for a "maker" who thrives on capturing the energy of a fast-moving company and translating it into a modern, video-first experience for our community.

 

The Role:

Identify compelling stories and ideate continuously to maintain a high-impact social presence.

Align creative social plans with overarching business goals, brand identity, and the unique "ModMed voice".

Maintain a "maker" mindset to transform high-level concepts into high-velocity daily content, overseeing the entire lifecycle from planning and design to final publishing.

Design, film, and edit "on-the-go" authentic videos featuring employees, customers, and industry leaders to produce native-feeling social content.

Act as a key consultant for the marketing team, providing the creative direction and perspective needed to translate large-scale projects into high-performing social initiatives.

Drive the growth and health of online communities through first-hand engagement, responding to followers, and fostering long-term brand loyalty.

Track and analyze key performance metrics to provide data-driven insights that refine future strategies and prove the ROI of social initiatives.

Monitor the pulse of the industry, emerging platforms, and competitor activity to quickly translate insights into "cutting-edge" content.

 

Skills & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications preferred.

2–5 years of experience in marketing or a related field, specifically within a B2B environment.

A proven track record of first-hand experience in building and growing online communities and driving engagement results.

Strong proficiency in creating content with modern design and editing tools, such as CapCut, Canva, and Adobe Express.

Previous experience working at a marketing or communications agency preferred.

Strong experience managing complex projects and meeting deadlines.

An independent self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and ideation.

Ability to embrace change as a growth opportunity and adapt quickly to new challenges.

Ability to work onsite in our Boca Raton, FL headquarters, three days per week.
