Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to join our HR team. This internship provides hands-on experience across a wide range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to launch a career in Human Resources while contributing to a fast-paced, growing organization.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily HR operations and administrative tasks
- Support recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
- Coordinate onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork and orientation sessions
- Maintain employee records and HR databases with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and employee data updates
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits
- Support HR projects such as employee engagement initiatives, training programs, and policy updates
- Conduct research on HR best practices and assist in improving HR processes
- Help plan company events and support a positive workplace culture
- Perform HR file audits to ensure compliance and completeness
- Compile reports and track key HR metrics
- Provide general support to the HR team and complete special projects as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in Human Resources and organizational development
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with HR systems (HRIS/ATS) is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
