Executive Assistant to Senior Executive | Business Partner
(AI, Data Center & Venture Capital)
Location: Flexible / Global
Initial Onboarding: 2–4 weeks in Tyson’s Corner, VA, followed by 2–4 weeks of travel with the executive (part of probation period)
Compensation: Base salary $60k - $80k+ (commensurate with experience)
Travel Requirement: Extensive international travel, including extended stays in Asian countries
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support a senior executive operating across the AI, data center infrastructure, and venture capital sectors. This role is deeply embedded with the executive and requires traveling wherever the executive travels, including extended international stays, particularly in Asia.
You will function as the central coordination and communication hub across a global network of internal teams, portfolio companies, investors, strategic partners, and counterparties. The role demands discretion, adaptability, and strong execution in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete 2–4 weeks of onboarding in the Tyson’s Corner, VA office
- Travel with the executive for 2–4 weeks during the probation period, then ongoing as required
- Serve as the primary liaison between the executive and:
- Internal leadership and operational teams
- Portfolio companies, investors, and strategic partners
- External counterparties across AI, infrastructure, and capital markets
- Coordinate and manage:
- Executive schedules, meetings, and engagements across multiple time zones
- Complex travel logistics (international flights, accommodations, visas, itineraries)
- On-site support during meetings, site visits, and deal-related engagements
- Maintain clear, timely, and accurate communication flow across all engagement nodes
- Prepare briefing materials, meeting notes, and follow-ups
- Anticipate executive needs and proactively resolve issues in real time
- Handle highly confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin required) — spoken and written
- Strong professional English communication skills
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively, including extended international stays
- Ability to commit to the Tyson’s Corner onboarding and probation travel schedule
- Exceptional organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- High degree of professionalism, reliability, and confidentiality
- Comfortable operating in AI, infrastructure, and venture-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Executive Assistant, Chief of Staff, or similar role
- Exposure to AI, technology, infrastructure, or venture capital sectors
- Experience supporting founders, investors, or senior executives
- Cross-cultural or international business experience
- Enjoys fast-paced, global, and high-responsibility roles
