Social Media Internship – Open Gyms

About Us

Open Gyms is a sports facility headquartered in Oakland, New Jersey and home to one of the largest club basketball programs in the state. Between our tournaments, camps, leagues, clinics, and highly competitive basketball teams, we produce a massive amount of content and believe our social media presence has enormous untapped potential.

We are looking for a creative, motivated intern to help us elevate our brand across social media platforms.

Internship Responsibilities

• Create and design social media content
• Assist with Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, graphics, and posts
• Capture gym, practice, game, and event content
• Help develop content ideas and posting strategies
• Assist with promoting tournaments, camps, tryouts, and events
• Work with our team to build engagement and brand awareness

Key Skills

• Social Media
• Content Design
• Graphic Design
• Video Editing
• Photography/Videography (preferred but not required)
• Understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and modern sports content trends

Ideal Candidate

• Creative and self-motivated
• Passion for sports and basketball culture
• Familiar with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop, Premiere, or similar platforms
• Comfortable working in fast-paced sports environments
• College student or recent graduate preferred
