Job Description: Accompanist / Pianist (Must speak Korean)

Employment Status: Part-Time

Pay Range : $26-$32 /hour

Working Hours

apprx. 7 hours per week (Choir practice: 3 hours, Individual practice: 2 hours, Service: 1 hour, Other: 1 hour).

Note: Extensions of time may happen due to special events or circumstances 

Duties

Accompaniment for Sunday Services (and Special Services).

Accompaniment for Dawn Prayer Services on alternate Saturdays.

Responsibilities

Special Services: Accompaniment for special meetings requested by the church (e.g., weekday dawn services, Wednesday services).

Faithfulness: Strive for an exemplary life of faith (active attendance at Sunday services, revival meetings, etc.).

Preparation: Accompaniment for Sunday and Special services.

Rehearsals: Regular practice sessions (e.g., before/after service, once-a-month rehearsals, and practice for special services).

Collaboration: Cooperate closely with the Conductor on musical matters (e.g., receiving scores/songs in advance).

Maintenance: Manage the pianos in the practice room and the main sanctuary (in cooperation with the Conductor).

Reporting: Consult and report to the Choir Director and the Chair of the Music Committee.
