Grain Origination Intern

CPI is seeking a highly motivated, outgoing, Grain Origination/Merchandising Intern with the ability to work independently when needed. This intern will gain knowledge in the following:

• Complete a variety of assignments related to day-to-day operations and processes
• Buying and selling of commodities.
• Daily analysis of local, national, and global markets.
• Transportation and logistics (Rail and Fleet).
• Relationship building with customers.
• Perform projects as assigned under the direction of qualified staff.

Intern must be pursuing a degree or certification from a community college, technical college or university and in good academic standing at time the internship begins. Basic understanding of commodity markets and trading principles preferred.
