Coordinator of Specials Programs II
Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to provide service coordination, oversight, and monitoring of the LBHA-funded programs with a focus on adult services for individuals with behavioral health disorders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of professional experience in assisting in the coordination of a health-related program(s) or referring people to governmental and private resources.
Notes:
1. Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health-related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess:
- Experience in the mental health field, assessing client/program needs and providing appropriate resources.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Working knowledge through experience reviewing, assessing, and approving documents related to client services/programs.
- Experience representing or facilitating meetings related to client issues.
- Experience maintaining housing documents and annual renewal reports.
