What We Seek:
The UNM Foundation seeks nominations and applications for an accomplished, relationship-driven fundraising professional to serve as Director of Development for Popejoy Hall at The University of New Mexico. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative advancement team supporting one of New Mexico’s premier cultural institutions.
The successful candidate will help lead strategic fundraising efforts focused on annual giving and major gifts, while working closely with Popejoy Hall leadership, volunteers, donors, and community partners to cultivate meaningful philanthropic relationships. We seek a dynamic, results-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a proven track record in fundraising, and a passion for advancing the performing arts through philanthropy.

What We Require:
Popejoy Hall is New Mexico’s premier performing arts center and a cornerstone of cultural enrichment at The University of New Mexico. Located within the UNM Center for the Arts, Popejoy Hall presents nationally and internationally recognized Broadway productions, symphony performances, renowned dance companies, acclaimed artists, and distinguished speakers through its signature “Popejoy Presents” series.

The minimum education and experience required:
- Baccalaureate degree
- At least 3 years of successful fundraising and development experience, preferably in higher education.
Compensation Salary Range:
The expected salary for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.
