Event Marketing Intern

Brighton Ford is a family owned company with values and integrity passed from one generation to another since 1988. We are a one-stop-shop for our community’s vehicle needs. We have an on-site award winning service department, body shop, parts department and both new and used sales departments. We have been giving back to our surrounding communities for over 35 years. We are a growing company and can’t wait to add to our already amazing team.

 

As part of the Brighton Ford Marketing/Event team, you will represent Brighton Ford at large and small community events. Our Spirit Squad will be a team of 2-4 paid interns that will help plan, execute and run events at Brighton Ford and in our community. The Spirit Squad will be the face of Brighton Ford at events and will utilize your social media accounts to help us grow our brand!

  

You will be responsible for the following: 

  • Support community partnerships and event goals by planning and attending events. 
  • Providing excellent customer service and communication with potential partners/ clients. May include talking with clients/partners when associates are not present. 
  • Work in teams that represent Brighton Ford at a variety of community events (golf outings, community festivals, networking events, etc.)
  • Learning the basics on each Ford model we carry
  • Capturing content to be used on Brighton Ford’s Social Media and digital marketing campaigns
  • Being an ambassador for Brighton Ford

 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Is able to work with a team
  • Will bring high energy and excitement to the team
  • Has excellent communication skills
  • Is comfortable talking with potential customers face-to-face at events
  • Is knowledgeable about social media, can create fun video content including TikToks/ Reels and can provide high-quality content
  • Likes to have fun!

 

What you’ll gain as an event team member:

  • Business-to-business marketing and sales experience 
  • Communication with clients and partners and customer service 
  • Test driving “Hot” New Ford Vehicles 

 

Qualifications:

  • 18+ years old
  • Clean driving record
  • Experience working with social media, specifically creating video content and capturing quality photos
  • Flexible schedule - includes availability on weekends
  • Bonus: someone who can drive a manual/stick shift (not required)


 

Other Position Details:

  • May - August paid Internship 
  • Part time 
  • Hours will vary (however schedule will be known ahead of time)
  • Hourly pay (will vary based upon previous experience)
  • Paid Uniform

  • Ample Networking 
  • Work in teams of 2-4 people at a time
