Marketing & Events Intern

Hello Studios is a podcast, video, and media company helping brands, entrepreneurs, creators, educators, and organizations turn their ideas into professional content, podcasts, workshops, courses, and live activations.

We work on projects ranging from podcast production and social media content to mobile podcast booths, webinars, certification courses, community events, and in-person workshops.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, proactive student or early-career professional to support our team as a Marketing & Events Operations Intern.

This is a great opportunity for someone interested in marketing, events, media, podcasting, entrepreneurship, content creation, or business operations.

You will work closely with our Chief of Staff to help research opportunities, organize projects, prepare event details, build outreach lists, compare vendors, and support the execution of marketing and community initiatives.

This role is not just about “helping with events.” You will help turn ideas into organized next steps so our team can move faster.

What You’ll Help With

Responsibilities may include:

  • Researching local events, trade shows, conferences, workshops, and speaking opportunities
  • Building spreadsheets and trackers for event opportunities, contacts, deadlines, pricing, and next steps
  • Helping coordinate in-person workshops, meetups, podcast activations, and community events
  • Researching podcast guest opportunities for our founder and team
  • Building outreach lists for partners, venues, creators, businesses, and organizations
  • Drafting basic outreach emails and follow-up messages
  • Researching local creator, podcast, entrepreneur, and student communities
  • Helping organize webinar and workshop logistics
  • Supporting podcast certification course planning and student community initiatives
  • Researching vendors for merch, printed planners, books, event supplies, and podcast equipment
  • Comparing affiliate programs, equipment companies, and potential brand partnerships
  • Assisting with event prep, check-in lists, run-of-show documents, and recap notes
  • Keeping project trackers updated and organized
  • Preparing weekly updates on completed work, upcoming deadlines, and next steps

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is:

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong at online research
  • Comfortable using Google Sheets or Excel
  • A clear written communicator
  • Reliable with deadlines
  • Able to follow instructions and ask good questions
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Interested in marketing, events, media, podcasts, content creation, or entrepreneurship
  • Local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area
  • Open to occasional in-person support for events, workshops, or meetings

Schedule

This role is flexible around school schedules.

Most work can be done remotely, but the ideal candidate is available for occasional in-person support in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

First 30-Day Goals

During the first month, you may help with:

  1. Building a master marketing and events opportunity tracker
  2. Researching local events, workshops, conferences, and speaking opportunities
  3. Researching podcasts where our founder could be a guest
  4. Researching possible venues and partners for workshops or meetups
  5. Helping organize webinar or workshop planning materials
  6. Researching vendors for merch, podcast planners, and event supplies
  7. Preparing a weekly progress report for the Chief of Staff
