MILITARY FRIENDLY EMPLOYER

VETERANS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO APPLY

At DHT, we value discipline, accountability, teamwork, and work ethic — the same qualities developed through military service. If you’re transitioning from the military and looking for a hands-on career with growth opportunities, we want to hear from you.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU APPLY.

If you’re looking to sit in an air-conditioned cab all day running equipment, this is NOT the job for you.

This position is built around PHYSICAL LABOR.

Yes, you may operate equipment at times — but that is NOT the primary role at entry level.

The majority of your day will involve:

  • Digging trenches
  • Using shovels, rakes, and hand tools
  • Site cleanup and preparation
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Working outdoors in heat, mud, dust, and changing weather
  • Supporting crews wherever needed

This is hands-on, boots-on-the-ground work for people who are willing to WORK.

WHAT DHT IS LOOKING FOR

We want dependable individuals who:

  • Show up on time
  • Work hard without constant supervision
  • Understand construction work is physically demanding
  • Can handle long days during peak season
  • Are willing to travel out of town when business demands it
  • Put safety first every single day

If you complain about dirt, weather, sweat, or physical labor — this job is not for you.

If you want to build a real career, learn valuable skills, and earn your place on a strong crew — keep reading.
