Marketing Intern (Summer 2026)

Undergraduate/Graduate Marketing Intern

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and collaborative Marketing Intern to join our team at The Social Enrichment Center. The Social Enrichment Center is a private mental health practice specializing in social and behavioral therapy, supporting individuals, families, schools and community organizations. Our objective is to build children and adolescents’ self-confidence and social skills. 

The Marketing Intern is responsible for creating and distributing marketing materials, including email campaigns, social media posts, fliers, and newsletters, as well as participating in community outreach and company representation at marketing events. This includes but is not limited to advertisements related to individual and group therapy services, ancillary services, company events, internships, and hiring.

The Marketing Intern must demonstrate timeliness, attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to work with an interdisciplinary team. This position is highly collaborative and will be overseen and supported by the Marketing Coordinator.

Please note that at this time we are unable to provide financial compensation for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage social media accounts including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
  • Design and upload fliers and advertisements to social media utilizing the pre-existing brand assets 
  • Introduce original marketing campaign ideas in adherence to the brand identity
  • Implement a monthly newsletter to advertise services and events to families
  • Schedule and coordinate community events, such as family outings
  • Editing and updating the company website as needed
  • Local travel and company representation at marketing events 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator on additional marketing projects
  • Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with state and federal laws

Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of marketing, advertising, sales, and consumer psychology
  • Experience with graphic design and digital marketing
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce work in a timely manner
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (Zoom, Google Meet)
  • Ability to work with an interdisciplinary team and advocate in times of need
  • Familiarity with SquareSpace, Handshake a plus

Internship Start:

  • April - June 2026 (earlier start date preferred)

Internship End:

  • N/A

Schedule:

  • Part-time (5-10 hours per week)
    • Minimum of three hours per week in-person (Monday-Saturday)
    • Minimum of three hours per week live virtual conferencing (Monday-Friday)
  • Open to providing additional hours

Qualifications:

  • In pursuit or completion of Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Graphic Design, or related field

Work Location: Hybrid (online and onsite in Media, Pennsylvania)
