Sales Support Intern
Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated full-time sales Support Intern to assist with sales and marketing operations, focusing on managing sales data, supporting administrative processes, and enabling effective communication across sales and cross-functional teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to build real-world experience while contributing to a fast-paced, high-impact environment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Pay rate: $22-$28 per hour
Data Entry
- Data Input: Input customer project information (accounts, contacts, opportunities, quotes) obtained from forms or spreadsheets into Salesforce CRM database accurately and comprehensively
- Data Verification: Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and obtain further information for incomplete records
- Data Integrity: Ensure consistency, quality and accuracy of all information entered
- Document Management: Organize and maintain files and spreadsheets to establish a record of original documents
- Report Generation: Ensure the timely and accurate input of data records
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications)
- Prior experience in a data entry or administrative support role
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a proactive, hands-on-approach
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Work Requirements
- Must be 18 years in age or older
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook
- Willingness to work independently within a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
