The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated, self-contained Videography Intern to help us capture the energy of the Greater Chicagoland area this summer. This role is designed for a student who is already building their professional toolkit and is looking for a platform to put their gear—and their talent—to work.

This is a field-based role. You will be our "pro-on-the-go," traveling to various locations across the city and suburbs to execute specific shot lists and capture high-quality content as directed.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Production: Transport, set up, and operate your own video, audio, and lighting equipment at various sites.

On-Location Shooting: Capture high-quality footage following a provided shot list in diverse environments, from urban settings to corporate offices.

Storytelling & Editing: Deliver polished final edits for social media and web use based on project guidelines.

Time Management: Maintain a strict schedule to ensure you are on-site, set up, and ready to roll at various locations throughout the day to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Owned Equipment: You must have access to your own professional-grade setup (Camera body, lenses, stabilizer/tripod, and basic audio/lighting).

Reliable Transportation: This role requires travel across the Greater Chicagoland area. You must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of your own gear and proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

Punctuality: Exceptional time management skills are a must; you are responsible for arriving at directed sites on time and ready to work.

Current Student: Enrollment in a Film, Media, or Communications program is preferred.

Compensation & Logistics

Negotiable Pay: We offer a competitive rate that reflects your skill level and the use of your personal equipment.

Travel Reimbursement: Mileage or travel stipends will be provided for travel between shoot locations.

Directed Work: You will be provided with clear shot lists and locations—your focus is on the craft and execution.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume and a link to your demo reel.

Important: In your application, please include a brief "Gear List" outlining the primary equipment you would be using for this internship (Camera, audio, etc.).

We are an equal opportunity employer and value the diverse perspectives a college student brings to our creative process.
