Crisis Technician (PT/FT and all shifts)

Coleman Health Services is seeking a Crisis Technician for our Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) in Ravenna, Ohio, and serving Portage County. Come join an energetic, fun, and supportive team that is part of a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs. Responsibilities include working with the team, monitoring client safety, and coordinating treatment with the team.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meal preparation
  • Monitoring resident safety
  • Maintaining unit compliance standards
  • Providing support and activities for residents on the unit
  • Consulting with clinical treatment team of case managers, nurses, counselors, and psychiatrists

 

Available Shift details:

  • Full time = 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3p-11p) 
  • Part time = 1st shift (7am-3pm), 2nd shift (3p-11p) weekday/weekend combo, 3rd shift weekday/weekend combo (11p-7a), 3rd shift (11pm-7am)
  • ALL SHIFTS must be willing to work a flexible schedule which may include weekends and rotating holidays

 

Qualifications of Crisis Technician include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Have/maintain an excellent driving record
  • Able to pass a Drug test
  • Able to pass BCI/FBI background checks

 

Preference given to the following candidates:

  • BA/BS in mental health/related field or five years of experience in mental health
  • Experience in crisis intervention
