Branch Manager – Staffing & Recruiting Operations

Hire is seeking a motivated and hands-on Branch Manager to lead our growing staffing office in Grove City, OH. This is a true working manager role responsible for overseeing branch operations while actively recruiting talent, managing client accounts, and driving business growth.

In this role, you will balance leadership responsibilities with full-cycle recruiting, client relationship management, and daily operational oversight to ensure the success of both the branch and your team.

Key Responsibilities

Branch Leadership & Operations

  • Oversee daily operations of the staffing branch to ensure productivity, profitability, and exceptional service.
  • Lead, coach, and develop recruiters and branch staff to meet recruiting, sales, and operational goals.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performance team culture.
  • Monitor branch performance metrics, recruiting activity, placements, and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and staffing industry standards.

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle for branch accounts, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing candidates.
  • Meet or exceed individual recruiting and placement goals while supporting team performance.
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines using job boards, referrals, social media, networking, and other sourcing strategies.
  • Coordinate interviews and guide candidates through the hiring and onboarding process.
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates to provide an excellent experience.

Client Account Management & Business Development

  • Develop, manage, and grow client relationships by understanding hiring needs and delivering workforce solutions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular client communication, visits, and follow-ups to strengthen partnerships and identify growth opportunities.
  • Resolve client concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Support branch growth through new business development and account expansion.

Administrative & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to achieve company goals and branch objectives.
  • Stay informed on labor market trends, recruiting strategies, and staffing industry best practices.

Skills & Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in staffing, recruiting, talent acquisition, or workforce solutions preferred.
  • Previous leadership or branch management experience in the staffing industry strongly preferred.
  • Proven success managing client accounts and recruiting in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading a team and handling a recruiting desk.
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
