Campus Marketing Ambassador
About the Role
We're hiring 2 student ambassadors at campus for a focused 2-week launch sprint. This is a real paid gig with concrete deliverables — not a "build your resume with exposure" situation.
You'll be responsible for driving organic awareness and adoption of Jiveocity on your campus. The work is social, in-person, and flexible — you set your own hours.
What You'll Do
- Get 30+ students from your campus to download Jiveocity and check in to at least one location. If they wish to join the Group Chat too (for that location) that is fine but not mandatory.
- Distribute branded stickers and postcards across high-traffic campus areas (with permission where required)
- Post 2–3 organic Instagram or TikTok stories featuring the app over the 2 weeks
- Provide weekly written feedback on what students respond to and what we should improve
What You'll Get
- $100 base pay (paid in two installments via Venmo/Zelle/PayPal)
- $5 per verified active user you bring on (capped at $150 in bonuses)
- Total earning potential: up to $300 over 2 weeks
- Free Jiveocity merch (stickers, t-shirt, hat)
- Direct mentorship from a working founder — happy to share what I've learned about building and shipping apps if that's interesting to you
- A real, citable line on your resume from a real LLC
Who We're Looking For
- Currently enrolled at a university
- Genuinely social and well-connected on your campus — this isn't for introverts willing to fake it
- Active on Instagram or TikTok (we'll ask for your handle)
- Reliable communicator — you respond to texts within a day
- Honest. We'll verify users are real and active before paying bonuses; gaming the system is grounds for non-payment
No prior marketing experience required. Some of our best ambassadors have been first-time hires.
How to Apply
Please submit:
- Your resume (or a one-paragraph "about me" if you don't have one yet — that's fine)
- Your Instagram or TikTok handle so we can confirm you have an active social presence
- A short answer (3–5 sentences) to: "If we hired you tomorrow, where on or near your campus would you bring people to check in this weekend, and why?"
Applications reviewed on a rolling basis. Top candidates will be invited to a 15-minute video call before being offered the role.
