Part-Time Art Teacher

A boutique art enrichment studio in Livingston, NJ for children ages 1 – 9 is seeking a warm, energetic Part-Time Art Teacher who loves working with young children and guiding creativity through play and exploration. Two shifts available - morning and afternoon, please see times below - please feel free to apply for both shifts, or either morning/afternoon. Children are accompanied by caregivers for all classes. 

Pay

  • $25 per hour
  • 1099 Independent Contractor

Schedule

  • Weekday mornings (9:30am - 11:30am) Monday through Friday
  • Weekday afternoons (3:30pm - 5:30pm) Tuesday and Thursday

Responsibilities

  • Lead small-group art classes (painting, sensory, craft) for children ages 1-4
  • Assist with creating weekly craft and sensory bin ideas
  • Create a calm, engaging, and safe classroom environment
  • Support smooth transitions, classroom management, reset, cleanup
  • Communicate professionally with parents and caregivers

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young children (parenting, preschool, enrichment, camps, education, or similar)
  • Enthusiastic, patient, reliable
  • Passion for all things CREATIVITY and early childhood development
