Financial Markets Tutor
We seek tutor teaches middle school students (Grades 5–8) the fundamentals of investing and capital markets, while introducing age-appropriate AI tools to support learning, research, and critical thinking. The role emphasizes responsible investing, long-term thinking, and ethical use of technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach basic stock market and investing concepts to students in Grades 5–8
- Explain how companies, stock exchanges, and investors work in simple terms
- Use interactive activities, simulations, and games to teach investing fundamentals
- Introduce AI tools to help students research companies and understand market news
- Guide students on safe, ethical, and responsible use of AI
- Lead hands-on projects such as mock portfolios and presentations
- Encourage long-term thinking, critical thinking, and financial responsibility
- Create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Major in Finance, Economics, Business, Education, Technology, or a related field
- Experience teaching/coaching middle school students preferred
- Solid understanding of stock markets and capital market fundamentals
- Familiarity with AI-powered educational or research tools
- Ability to explain both finance and AI concepts in simple, age-appropriate language
