About the National Fathers Alliance
The National Fathers Alliance (NFA) is a national alliance and holistic service portal that strengthens fathers, restores families, supports healthy co-parenting, and helps stabilize family systems through multidisciplinary support services.
NFA serves as a centralized hub connecting fathers and families with vetted professionals, support services, and community-based resources focused on father-child reunification, emotional healing, family restoration, and long-term family stability.
Our work integrates advocacy, mentorship, trauma-informed support, family stabilization initiatives, and collaborative partnerships to create healthier outcomes for children and families.
Internship Overview
The National Fathers Alliance is seeking passionate, purpose-driven interns interested in nonprofit leadership, fatherhood advocacy, partnership development, research, social impact, and holistic family support systems.
Interns will play an active role in curating and expanding The NFA Holistic Service Portal by researching, identifying, and helping establish strategic partnerships with professionals, organizations, and service providers aligned with NFA’s mission.
Interns may assist with:
Partnership & Resource Research
- Researching the best possible partnerships, organizations, and service providers
- Identifying vetted professionals aligned with NFA’s mission
- Assisting with the development of the NFA Holistic Service Portal
- Researching community resources and referral networks
- Helping organize professional directories and partnership databases
Community Outreach & Engagement
- Assisting with fatherhood and family-centered outreach initiatives
- Supporting awareness campaigns and events
- Engaging with community stakeholders and organizations
Social Media & Communications
- Assisting with content creation and digital campaigns
- Supporting podcast, media, and awareness initiatives
- Helping communicate NFA’s mission across platforms
Research & Advocacy
- Assisting with fatherhood and family stabilization research
- Supporting legislative and advocacy initiatives
- Gathering data and community resource information
Administrative & Organizational Support
- Assisting with project coordination
- Organizing partnership information and documentation
- Supporting nonprofit operational development
The NFA Holistic Service Portal
Interns will help support the development and curation of NFA’s multidisciplinary professional network.
