Fundraising & Corporate Sponsorship Intern

Overview

This role is ideal for someone interested in sales, business development, or nonprofit fundraising. You’ll gain real-world experience in pipeline management, outreach strategy, and sponsor acquisition.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn) to prospective sponsors and donors 
  • Assist in building and managing a fundraising pipeline (CRM tracking, follow-ups, reporting) 
  • Identify and research potential corporate sponsors and partners 
  • Support development of sponsorship packages and proposals 
  • Coordinate meetings and handoffs to leadership team 
  • Track fundraising progress against goals and KPIs 

Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills (phone + written) 
  • Comfortable with cold calling and outreach (this is important—don’t soften this) 
  • Interest in sales, marketing, or nonprofit development 
  • Organized and detail-oriented 
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely
