Job Title: City Brand Ambassador / Sales Contractor — 2026 World Cup
Cpmoany: Skydeck Lab
Employment Type: Contract
Workplace Type: Hybrid (applicant’s city)
Compensation: Commission-only (10–20% per deal)
Duration: May 2026 – July 2026 (World Cup season)
Job Description
The biggest sporting event on earth is coming to the US in 7 weeks, and nobody seems ready.
Walk through any of the 11 host cities right now and try to find signs that the World Cup is about to happen. You’ll find almost nothing. No fan zones. No guides. No one is telling the millions of fans flying in from South America and Europe where to go, where to watch, or where to find their people. A Brazilian fan lands in Miami — where does she go to watch Brazil play? An English supporter arrives in New York — which pub has his crowd? Right now, the answer is: Google it and hope for the best.
That’s the gap we’re filling. SpotForFans.com is the fan spot directory for the 2026 World Cup in the US — helping fans from every country find the bars, restaurants, and watch parties where their fellow supporters gather. Not just “good bars” — your team’s bars. The places where you walk in and everyone’s wearing your colors.
We’re looking for Brand Ambassadors / Sales Contractors in each of the 11 US host cities to help us sign up local venues. You know which bars show the big matches, which neighborhoods different fan communities claim as their own, and which spots are going to be packed when the tournament starts. We need that knowledge. This is a commission-only, independent contractor role — perfect if you already live this scene and want to get paid for it.
Cities We’re Hiring In
• Los Angeles
• New York / New Jersey
• Miami
• Atlanta
• Houston
• Dallas
• Philadelphia
• Seattle
• San Francisco Bay Area
• Kansas City
• Boston
What You’ll Do
• Identify and visit bars, restaurants, and event venues in your city that are likely World Cup watch spots
• Pitch SpotForFans to venue owners/managers and get them listed on our platform (free listing first, then upsell to paid promotion)
• Collect venue info: photos, hours, address, what fan communities they attract
• Help us map out your city’s fan zones — which neighborhoods are the hot spots, where do Brazilian fans go vs. Mexican fans vs. English fans, etc.
• Build relationships with venue owners and convert free listings into paid “Featured” promotions as the World Cup approaches
Whom We’re Looking For
• You live in one of the 11 host cities and know the bar/restaurant scene well
• You’re a real soccer fan — you watch matches, you go to bars for big games, you know who’s playing who
• You’re outgoing and comfortable walking into a bar, doing cold calls, and pitching a manager
• You have some knowledge of your city’s soccer fan communities — where different nationalities gather, which bars are known for which crowds
• Sales, hospitality, event promotion, or BD experience is a plus but not required — passion and hustle matter more
• Bonus: you speak a second language (Spanish, Portuguese, etc.)
Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor role. No base salary — you earn based on the paid promotions you close:
• 1–10 paying venues: 10% commission per deal
• 11–20 paying venues: 15% commission per deal
• 21+ paying venues: 20% commission per deal
Venue promotion packages range from $200–$2,000 depending on tier and duration. The more venues you sign, the higher your rate and your earnings.
What We Provide
• A ready-to-use sales kit: pitch script, mobile demo, pricing sheet
• A live product you can show venue owners on your phone
• Real-time data (Want to Go counts, fan nationality breakdown) to make your pitch easy
• Stripe payment links so you can close deals on the spot
• Direct support from the founding team
