NeuroHire is building an AI-first SaaS platform that helps companies hire smarter using data and intelligent systems. Our backend infrastructure powers everything from APIs and business logic to AI-driven workflows and scalable product operations.

We’re looking for a Backend Developer who enjoys building reliable systems, scalable APIs, and clean architecture. Someone who can build production-grade services and use modern tools (including AI) to improve development speed and efficiency.

What You’ll Work On

  • Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs
  • Develop scalable application logic and system architecture
  • Work with databases to manage and optimize application data
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs where needed
  • Collaborate with frontend, product, and AI teams to deliver features
  • Use AI tools to assist in coding, debugging, testing, and optimization
  • Improve system performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Debug production issues and implement long-term fixes
  • Contribute to technical architecture and backend best practices

What We’re Looking For

  • 0–2 years of experience in backend development
  • Strong proficiency in Python, Node.js, Java, or similar backend technologies
  • Experience building REST APIs and backend systems
  • Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
  • Understanding of system design, scalability, and backend architecture
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows
  • Experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, etc.) in development workflows
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset

Nice to Have (Not Required)

  • Experience with microservices or distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Docker and containerization
  • Exposure to AI APIs or AI-powered workflows
  • Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps basics
  • Experience in SaaS or product-based companies
