About Strategic Clarity Group
Strategic Clarity Group is a modern analytics consulting firm that helps organizations turn data into better decisions.
We partner with both B2B and direct-to-consumer companies to build scalable analytics environments, automate reporting and workflows, improve customer intelligence, and create data systems that support growth.
Our work spans:
- Strategy development & test design
- Data engineering and analytics automation
- Dashboarding and reporting
- Customer and marketing analytics
- AI-enabled analytics workflows
- Customer data infrastructure
- Ad hoc business analysis and decision support
We are technology agnostic and work within the environments our clients already own. Rather than forcing companies into predefined systems, we help organizations build practical, scalable solutions that fit their business.
As a growing consulting firm, we operate in a collaborative, startup-style environment where team members have meaningful ownership and exposure to a wide variety of business challenges, industries, and technologies.
The Role
We are looking for an early-career Analytics Associate who is curious, analytical, adaptable, and excited to grow in a fast-paced consulting environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new technologies, and using data to help businesses make better decisions.
You will work closely with senior consultants to design and build modern analytics solutions for clients across a variety of industries. Early on, your work will focus heavily on project execution, analytics development, and learning the foundations of consulting work. Over time, you will gradually grow into a more client-facing role with increasing ownership and responsibility.
This position offers hands-on experience across the modern analytics stack, including:
- Data engineering
- Analytics development
- Dashboarding and reporting
- Customer and marketing analytics
- AI-enabled automation and workflows
- Business problem solving and consulting
This is not a narrow reporting role. We are looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career at the intersection of analytics, technology, and business strategy.
What You’ll Do
Your work will span multiple areas of analytics, automation, and consulting, including:
- Build and maintain data pipelines using Python and SQL
- Work with cloud data warehouses and modern analytics platforms
- Design and maintain dashboards, automated reporting, and analytics workflows
- Support ad hoc analyses to answer client business questions
- Assist with customer and marketing analytics initiatives, including segmentation, performance analysis, and campaign measurement
- Help implement scalable analytics frameworks and data models
- Contribute to automation initiatives and AI-enabled analytics solutions
- Work across both B2B and direct-to-consumer client environments
- Collaborate directly with senior consultants on client engagements and internal projects
- Gradually transition into client-facing analytics and consulting responsibilities
How We Work
We work in a highly collaborative, fast-moving consulting environment where curiosity, communication, and ownership matter.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Takes initiative and enjoys figuring things out
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is comfortable learning independently and asking thoughtful questions
- Can balance technical work with business context
- Enjoys solving ambiguous problems
- Wants to grow into a trusted client-facing consultant over time
We care far more about adaptability, problem solving, and learning ability than checking every technical box.
Basic Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in analytics, data, business intelligence, marketing analytics, or related fields
- Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, economics, computer science, information systems, marketing analytics, engineering, or another quantitative field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Comfort working with data and learning new technologies
- Ability to communicate ideas and findings clearly
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Internships, academic projects, research experience, freelance work, or self-directed technical projects are all valuable experience.
Preferred Technical Experience
Experience with any of the following is helpful but not required:
- Python
- SQL
- Cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)
- Data transformation tools such as dbt
- BI and dashboarding tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
- Marketing and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, HubSpot, ad platforms)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Git and version control workflows
- ETL pipelines and workflow orchestration tools
- AI-assisted workflows or analytics automation
We do not expect candidates to know every tool listed above. Strong learning ability and curiosity are more important than prior experience with specific technologies.
Location & Collaboration
While we operate as a flexible, hybrid-friendly company, candidates should be located in the greater Milwaukee area.
Because this role is designed as a high-growth, mentorship-oriented position, we value regular in-person collaboration and working sessions with senior team members. We believe some of the best learning happens through direct collaboration, problem solving, and exposure to real consulting work.
