Credit Analyst

Credit Analyst I or II (or December Graduate / Intern Track)

Location: Oshkosh, WI 

Job Summary

We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting small businesses through financial analysis and underwriting services that help drive growth and create jobs in our communities. We are hiring at the Credit Analyst I or II level and are also open to December graduates or interns who demonstrate strong potential and a desire to grow within our organization.

 

Position Overview

As a Credit Analyst, you will partner with WBD loan officers to analyze financial and business information, prepare credit presentations, and support financing decisions for small business loans. This role offers hands-on experience in commercial lending and opportunities for growth within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and supporting business documentation
  • Prepare comprehensive credit presentations and SBA loan applications
  • Collaborate with internal team members as well as external borrowers and third-party lenders
  • Support loan closings and ongoing loan servicing, as needed
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal and SBA guidelines

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Effective time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field (or in progress for December graduates)
  • Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus
