Job Description:
We are seeking an Architectural Designer with 2D and 3D skills to support the conceptualization and development of immersive environments, monuments, placemaking and marketing experiences. This role bridges architecture, sculpture, and experiential design, translating ideas into compelling visual narratives and buildable solutions.
You will work closely with our design, sculpture, and project teams to bring complex, large-scale projects to life, from early concept through fabrication and installation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop 2D drawings and 3D models for monuments, landscapes, and architectural elements
- Translate conceptual ideas into renderings, plans, and presentation materials
- Assist in developing preliminary cost frameworks by interpreting design intent into measurable components (materials, scale, structural elements, installation requirements)
- Collaborate with sculptors, designers, and fabricators to ensure design intent is carried through execution
- Produce site plans, elevations, sections, and detailing for integration into real-world environments
- Create high-quality visualizations and storytelling assets for client presentations
- Assist in material selection, spatial planning, and experiential design strategies
- Coordinate with external consultants including architects, engineers, and landscape designers
- Support installation planning and on-site execution as needed
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture, Environmental Design, Industrial Design or related field
- 3–7 years of professional experience in architectural or experiential design
- Strong proficiency in:
- Rhino (Grasshopper is a plus)
- AutoCAD / Revit
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Rendering tools (Lumion, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar)
- Ability to move fluidly between concept design and technical documentation
- Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, and construction processes
- Exceptional visual communication and storytelling skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and responsive
