Engineering Intern
Anaheim Automation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to support our engineering team in developing, testing, and maintaining motion control and automation products. This role offers hands-on experience working with real-world electrical and mechanical systems in a collaborative lab environment.
Position Details:
- Location: Anaheim, CA
- Schedule: 4+ hours per day, 2–3 days per week
- Pay: $21.00/hour
- Start Date: June 2026
- End Date: June 2027
- Type: Part-time Internship
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with day-to-day operations and maintenance of the engineering laboratory
- Support engineers in testing, troubleshooting, and evaluating automation products
- Perform basic diagnostics and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment
- Help maintain and organize engineering documentation, components, and lab equipment
- Record test data, document results, and assist with technical reporting
- Participate in product development tasks and other engineering projects as assigned
What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or related program (sophomore level or higher preferred)
- Basic knowledge of electrical lab equipment such as:
- Oscilloscopes
- Function generators
- Digital multimeters
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work both independently and in a team
- Hands-on lab or project experience
- Interest in motion control, automation, or embedded systems.
