Process Automation Intern

Role: Process Automation Intern
Location: Bishop, TX 78343

Duration: 4 Months
Shift Timing: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Minimum qualification: Associate Degree or higher.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We’re currently hiring a Process Automation Intern for our client site in Bishop, TX 78343. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in automation systems, PI system support, control loops, DCS/PLC support, and documentation in a strong industrial environment.

In this role, you would work closely with an onsite mentor and support day-to-day automation activities, including:

  • PI system support and monitoring
  • Responding to control loop questions
  • Assigning DCS points for new projects
  • Investigating data and configuration discrepancies
  • PLC support for onsite operations
  • Coordination with Honeywell for reporting systems

This internship also offers exposure to state-of-the-art automation systems, network infrastructure, and cross-functional collaboration with internal teams and external support partners.
