Landscape Designer / Landscape Architect

Heritage Landscapes LLC seeks an early to mid-career landscape architect or designer to enhance places of longstanding and emergent value. Research, design, and plan projects to steward fascinating public landscapes around the country. With engaging opportunities coming forward, we seek to grow our team in Norwalk, Connecticut. All candidates must have strong organizational skills and be motivated to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key qualifications include:
- BLA or MLA with relevant professional experience.
- Graphic proficiency using AutoCAD and Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Other software tools such as ArcGIS and 3D rendering are appreciated.
- Research and writing skills in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong comprehension and production skills for various deliverables and audiences (in-depth planning studies to construction documents).
- Adaptable communication with colleagues, project team members, and clients.
- Motivation and positive attitude while balancing multiple tasks.
- Willingness to occasionally travel to project locations and other office/team locations in the US.
- Other useful skillsets from fields such as architecture, graphic design, construction, ecology, sustainability, horticulture, anthropology, history, and languages are welcome.
- Flexibility and teamwork to achieve award winning results.
