Role Overview
We are a commercial subcontractor specializing in millwork and casework for the healthcare, education, and commercial interior sectors. We are looking for a versatile Assistant Project Manager to help coordinate projects from start to finish.
This role is ideal for someone highly organized and detail-oriented who enjoys handling a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. Specific experience in millwork or construction is a plus, but not a requirement; we are willing to train the right candidate.
Primary Responsibilities
- Project Coordination: Track project timelines and ensure milestones are met for shop production and site delivery.
- Submittals & Samples: Organize and submit shop drawings and material samples for approval by architects and contractors.
- Communication: Act as a liaison between our office, the production shop, and General Contractors.
- Documentation: Manage RFIs (Requests for Information), Change Orders, and general project filing.
- Material Tracking: Help monitor inventory and ensure hardware and specialty materials are ordered on time.

- Detail-Oriented: Ability to catch small details in documents and schedules.
- Multitasking: Comfortable switching between different tasks and projects throughout the day.
- Communication: Clear professional writing and comfortable speaking with clients and vendors.
- Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software quickly.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a small-team setting.
