Program Management Intern (6-Week Summer Internship)
This is an opportunity to start your career in a role that really matters.
We’re hiring a Program Management Intern to join our Change & Transformation team at IRIS. This role is designed for someone early in their career who wants to understand how big decisions are made, how projects are planned, and how businesses turn ideas into real outcomes.
You don’t need previous experience. You’ll be supported, guided, and trusted to contribute - what matters most is your curiosity, your willingness to learn, and your ability to think clearly.
This is a 6-week full-time paid internship (40 hours per week) during June/July.
Why This Role Matters
Every business has ideas. Not every business turns them into results.
That’s where Program Management comes in.
This team helps IRIS:
- Turn strategy into action
- Keep important projects on track
- Use data to make better decisions
- Improve how teams work together
When this works well, the business runs smarter, moves faster, and delivers better outcomes for customers.
Your work will support real decisions and real projects - even as an intern.
Why This Role Is a Brilliant Place to Start
Every piece of research helps a decision.
Every insight moves a project forward.
In this role, you’ll learn how work gets done behind the scenes in a large business - not just what happens, but why.
You’ll build confidence in:
- Thinking through problems
- Working with data
- Communicating ideas clearly
- Understanding how teams connect
It’s a role where you’ll quickly see how your work contributes to something bigger.
About the Team You'll Join
You’ll work directly with the Senior Director, Program Management in our Change & Transformation function.
This team focuses on improving how the business operates and delivering important initiatives across IRIS.
You’ll work with different teams, hear different perspectives, and gain a real understanding of how a business runs day-to-day.
What You'll Be Doing
With support and guidance, you’ll be involved in real work from day one:
- Research topics and summarize key findings
- Help track projects and keep things organized
- Support the creation of presentations and reports
- Work with data to spot trends and insights
- Help teams stay aligned and informed
You’ll learn by doing - and you’ll always have support when you need it.
What We’re Looking For
This role is ideal for students or recent graduates.
You could be a great fit if you:
- Are studying (or recently graduated) in Business, Economics, Data, or a related field
- Enjoy solving problems or analyzing information
- Are comfortable working with data and numbers
- Can explain ideas clearly, both written and verbally
- Are organized and able to manage multiple tasks
- Pay attention to detail and take pride in accuracy
- Are curious and eager to learn
Helpful (but not essential):
- Basic experience with Excel or PowerPoint
- Exposure to data tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) or project work
You don’t need to have done this before - potential matters more than experience.
What You’ll Gain

- Confidence working in a professional environment
- Mentorship from experienced leaders
