Part-Time Tutor & College Counselor Opportunities — Bergen County, NJ

DeepBrain Academy, an education and cognitive development academy founded by Ivy League faculty, is seeking passionate and motivated part-time tutors and college counselors to support students across Bergen County, including Tenafly, Fort Lee, and surrounding communities. We work with students from elementary through high school in a wide range of academic subjects, enrichment programs, college admissions guidance, and standardized test preparation.

About the Role

  • Provide one-on-one, in-person (or online) tutoring or college counseling to students in your local area
  • Support students ranging from elementary school through high school
  • Tutor or mentor students based on your expertise and interests

Subjects and areas may include:

  • Mathematics
  • Reading & Writing
  • English & Language Arts
  • Science
  • Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Chess & Cognitive Strategy Games
  • Spanish & French
  • SAT/ACT Test Preparation
  • Competition Math & STEM Enrichment
  • College Counseling & Admissions Guidance
  • Academic Planning & Extracurricular Strategy
  • Personal Statement & Essay Mentorship

You will have the flexibility to:

  • Choose the students and sessions that fit your schedule
  • Work within your preferred travel radius (typically 5–10 miles)
  • Use your own teaching and mentoring style

Qualifications
