We are seeking an energetic, adaptable candidate with the ability to quickly learn and grow as an Electronic Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing installed systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Your work will help safeguard lives and property by ensuring all electronic fire and security equipment operates effectively.
What you will do
Respond to service calls, assess reported issues, and communicate with customers to confirm problems.
Our commercial customers are some of the best in the industries they serve - from manufacturing, educational, healthcare, commercial properties and beyond; we support a broad range of customers.
Diagnose, repair, program and install electronic systems and related building systems, following established troubleshooting procedures and technical documentation.
Follow blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals to ensure accurate work.
Maintain clear communication with customers and district staff, ensuring satisfaction and accurate documentation via smartphones and laptops.
Participate in periodic on-call rotations and assist with training or mentoring team members.
Provide proactive solutions to improve building efficiency and resolve service-related issues.
Candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills.

HIRING STARTING - HOURLY RANGE: ~$22 - 30 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) This position includes a competitive benefits package. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role.
