We use tools students already love, like Minecraft, to explore complex topics in science, technology, engineering, and math. Position Overview:

We’re looking for energetic, knowledgeable, and creative individuals to join our team as STEM Instructors. In this role, you'll lead students through our Minecraft curriculum, teaching concepts such as Biomes, Resource Management, and Strategic Thinking while using the Scientific Method as a framework. Depending on your interests and availability, you may also have opportunities to teach additional STEM subjects.

No prior teaching experience is required. We provide all training and materials. However, strong Minecraft skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sessions for small student groups using Hive of Thinkrs’ hands-on curriculum.
  • Teach Minecraft-based STEM concepts including Biomes, coding logic, and trial-and-error strategy.
  • Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment.
  • Support students’ problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills.
  • Collaborate with the Hive of Thinkrs South Miami team to maintain high instructional quality.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Minecraft and an interest in STEM education.
  • Passion for working with children in grades K–12.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Reliable, organized, and comfortable with flexible schedules.
  • Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus, but not required.
