About the company:

  • We established in 2003 and provide legal services to property management companies and purchasers of foreclosed homes.  We represent the largest purchaser of foreclosed properties in North America and cover their evictions for the entire state of CA (Excluding San Francisco).
  • Due to our current caseload, we no longer accept new clients or advertise.   – We took our website down years ago, but people still find us and call.

About the position

  • You do not need experience to apply for this position, but it does require above average intelligence and ability to learn/ problem solve. If you’re willing to learn, we’re ready to train. 
  • You will be closely supervised each step of the way while training
  • You’ll learn through hands-on experience and gradual increases in tasks. 
  • We love questions. Trust us, you’ll have plenty. In fact, we need you to ask questions rather than proceed on assumptions or guesses. 
  • It requires mental discipline, focus, and teamwork – we work to establish a cohesive flow throughout each case. 

 

Position: Administrative Assistant

Full time 8:00 to 4:30 M-F Live in Person.  No Remote.

Location:  Monrovia, CA

Duties:  Review of case initiation documents; Verification of addresses and jurisdiction of courts; Entry of case information into our database; Assist in the Generation of Summons, Complaints, Discovery Requests, Motions to Compel, and all related documents;   Electronic and physical filing; Coordination with process servers; processing judgments and writs of possession; Drafting Instructions to Sheriffs to effectuate lockouts; Logging of time, events, and client costs; and lots more.

Compensation:  Depends upon Fit, starting at $21-$27 / hr.

Minimum Requirements: College Course work.  Degree preferred in the area of legal studies. Ability to type, and basic computer skills is a must.  This position requires the ability to access the building via stairs (2nd floor no elevator).
