QuistMD is a boutique, physician-owned medical clinic specializing in Osteopathic Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), and Physical Therapy. What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a bright, motivated Summer Intern who is eager to be a part of a high-touch, patient-centered practice. This is an exciting opportunity to gain real-world clinical and administrative experience in a tight-knit setting where your contributions will be visible and meaningful.
What You’ll Do
As the summer Intern, you will serve as a vital liaison between our patients and our practice, supporting daily operations across several key areas:
Administrative Responsibilities
- Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and warmth
- Schedule patients using our practice management software
- Greet patients and visitors, creating a welcoming first impression
- Prepare and update patient charts
- Assist with payment processing and general clerical duties
Patient Care & Relations
- Assist in managing medical records and insurance requests
- Monitor and respond to the practice’s voicemail and email inbox
- Help ensure patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Enhance the patient experience by offering attentive, responsive service
Facility Operations
- Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of exam rooms
- Monitor and restock office and clinical supplies as needed
- Support internal controls to protect confidential practice information

Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: High school diploma required; some college or healthcare-related coursework preferred
- Experience: 1–2 years in a customer service or healthcare setting (preferred)

- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
