SET THE COURSE

The Corporate Allocation Specialist supports the allocation of inventory and incoming production to business channel sales orders in alignment with customer profiles and company standards. This role provides customer service support to internal DTC departments by processing sales orders and making inventory adjustments.

BE THE ISLAND GUIDE

Pre-Season:

Review sales orders against production/on-hand inventory to help ensure orders ship on time and complete within designated delivery windows. Notify business channels of any changes needed to delivery timing.

Monitor styles that exceed company oversold guidelines, process adjustments or cancellations, and communicate updates to business units and Customer Service.

Work with DTC to help satisfy Specialty Store orders when possible, to reduce cancellations.

Assist Production Ops with Style Master setup issues.

Support Sales Team with Seasonal Drop Ship orders.

 

Shipping Season:

Identify orders requiring extensions due to production delays or incorrect dates and update allocation rules as directed.

Flag orders affected by factory short shipments or quality issues, process adjustments or cancellations, and communicate to impacted teams.

Clear “no ship reason codes” daily to maximize shipments.

Coordinate with DC Operations to support prioritization of daily workloads based on freight schedules, shipping goals, and open sales orders.

Provide support with business channels on fulfilling At Once orders not covered by available inventory.

Serve as liaison between DC and Operations for orders requiring manual processing in Blue Cherry to ship same day.

Manage STOCK program for Specialty Stores for in-season reorders.

Run scheduled and ad hoc reports.

Participate in company- or division-directed special projects as needed

 

DTC Customer Service Pre-Season:

Monitor upload of seasonal orders into Blue Cherry. Process manually chase orders.

Work with DTC teams and Production Ops to resolve upload errors.

 

Shipping Season:

Process EDI Retail floor set orders according to Master Allocation Calendar dates.

Process EDI Replenishment orders multiple times per week depending on seasonality.

Manage inventory transfers between DTC bulks as needed.

Process aged, RTV, and TTO inventory movement monthly.

Make changes to sales orders in Blue Cherry (dates, cancellations, corrections, reductions, increases).

Support company- or division-directed special projects as assigned

 

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE

High school diploma required.

Generally, 2+ years apparel industry experience (wholesale or retail) in allocation, planning, or retail buying in a multi-channel environment preferred.

Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills including formatting, V-look ups and working with formulas.

Demonstrated ability to quickly learn business processes and inventory management systems.

Able to build and maintain productive relationships with peers, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.

Good aptitude for numbers

Strong, professional communication (oral and written) skills.

Proven experience analyzing issues and making timely and effective decisions.

Must be detail-oriented.

Strong time management and organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced and demanding environment to meet goals.

Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the ability to work with tight deadlines.

Ability to work independently, be self-motivated, and possess a strong work ethic

 

Multiple factors will vary the applicable rate of pay for this role, including an individual’s experience, knowledge, and skillset, as well as work location and available budget.

 

Pay Range: 25.06-39.00 Hourly
