RTI Coach: Founders Memorial School

Essex Westford School District (EWSD) has an opportunity for a passionate educator to join the team at Founders Memorial School beginning in the 2026-2027 school year as a Response to Intervention Teacher/Team Coaches. 

 

The RTI Coach plays a pivotal role in enhancing instructional practices, with an impact on all students' learning in a school setting. This position aligns with the RTI at Work and PLC at Work practices, the 5D Framework, and the EWSD RTI Framework to provide comprehensive support to teachers, collaborative teams, and other staff in all aspects of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 instruction and interventions.  

  

EWSD is committed to considering out-of-state candidates who are eligible to hold a Vermont educator license but do not yet hold a license in this state.

Candidates with the following qualifications are encouraged to apply:

  • Hold (or be eligible to hold) a valid VT educator license with an elementary education endorsement. 
  • Experience in delivering professional development and coaching adults.
  • Extensive experience in education, with a focus on RTI and tiered instruction. Must have recently attended an approved PLC at Work and/or RTI at Work training event. 
  • Demonstrated high level of competence in, and commitment to, the PLC at Work and RTI at Work practices and their application in an educational setting.
  • A deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in education.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to provide strong evidence of working with educators and seeing the impact on student learning.
  • Able to effectively and efficiently use technology to analyze and report data to inform practices
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the CASEL framework and ability to support others in instructional best practices that incorporate the SEL competencies.
