Natural Resources Mechanical Lab Supervisor

Our Center for Technology, Essex is seeking a Natural Resources Mechanical Lab Supervisor to support students in a hands-on Career & Technical Education program. This role is ideal for someone with experience in welding, equipment repair, or mechanical trades who enjoys mentoring and working with young people.
You’ll work alongside a Program Instructor to help students build real-world skills while supporting projects, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, well-run lab environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Support students in developing mechanical and technical skills
- Assist with projects involving welding, fabrication, and equipment repair
- Help maintain tools, equipment, and lab/shop space
- Ensure safe practices and proper use of equipment
- Provide supervision and support during classroom and field-based activities
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in mechanical trades, welding, equipment repair, or a related field
- Strong commitment to safety and quality work
- Interest in working with and supporting high school students
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid driver’s license required

Pay: $26.21+ based on experience
