Student Office Assistant - Summer or Fall 2026 - Work Study or Regular Pay

Student Office Assistant – Accounting/ITSCM Departments
Location: Hyland Hall, University of Wisconsin–Whitewater
Schedule: Flexible, during standard business hours
Work Study Eligible: Yes

The Accounting and ITSCM Departments are seeking a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented student to join our office team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain professional experience in a supportive and collaborative academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general office support to the departments
  • Assist with event preparation and logistics
  • Work with Excel spreadsheets, including organizing and comparing data
  • Perform administrative tasks such as printing, copying, and filing
  • Pick up and distribute departmental mail
  • Complete additional duties as assigned to support departmental needs

Qualifications:
We are seeking a student who is:

  • Punctual and dependable
  • Able to take initiative and work independently
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Detail-oriented and organized

Additional Requirements:

  • Applicants must demonstrate an understanding of Accounting or ITSCM course content, as evidenced by their accounting or ITSCM course grades. 
  • Student employees must not have a record of academic misconduct and will be required to sign a Statement of Ethics prior to completing any work. The department will verify standing with the Dean of Students Office prior to hiring, and employees are required to report any academic misconduct violations that occur during their employment.

This position is available for Fall 2026, but students may start during Summer 2026 if available.
