Student Instructor (STEM / Coding) – Part-Time

About the Role
We’re looking for motivated and reliable student instructors to join our team at iCode Cupertino. This is a great opportunity for high school or college students interested in STEM, coding, or working with kids.
You’ll support our instructors in teaching coding, robotics, and game development to students in a fun, structured environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with kids and wants hands-on experience in teaching, leadership, and technology.
What You’ll Do
- Teach kids or assist instructor during classes (coding, robotics, Minecraft, Roblox, etc.)
- Help students stay engaged and on track during activities
- Provide 1-on-1 support when students need help
- Help set up and clean up classroom materials
- Step in to lead small groups or portions of a class when needed
What We’re Looking For
- Energetic and passionate about kids
- Responsible and reliable (this is very important)
- Comfortable working with kids (ages 6–14)
- Interest in STEM, coding, or technology (experience is a plus, not required)
- Ability to follow structure and instructions
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with Scratch, Roblox, Minecraft, or basic programming
- Prior experience tutoring, teaching, or mentoring
- Robotics experience (VEX, LEGO, etc.)
Schedule
- Part-time, primarily evenings and weekends
- Flexible scheduling
- Opportunity for more hours during camps and summer (full-time potential)
- Compensation
- $20-25/hour based on experience
