About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Japanese(or Korean)-English bilingual Outside Sales Representative to join a growing Japanese trading company in Lanham, MD. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and customer needs
- Proactively reach out to potential clients via calls, emails, networking, and social media
- Build and maintain strong client relationships for long-term business growth
- Present and promote products and services to clients
- Prepare sales reports and track performance metrics
- Negotiate and close deals while coordinating orders smoothly
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events (especially food-related events)
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales targets
- Gather customer feedback and share insights to improve products and services
Qualifications
- Fluency in Japanese or Korean (business-level) and proficiency in English
- Interest in sales, customer service, or business development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (CRM experience is a plus)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Passion for food, culture, and working in a global environment
- Entry-level candidates are welcome (sales or customer service experience is a plus)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: Up to $55,000/year + quarterly incentives

Additional Information
- Background check and drug test required
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
