Art Summer Camp Counselor

Exciting Art Summer Camp Counselor and Internship Position

We are looking teachers or students who have completed at least their first year of college. All College Art Majors are encouraged to apply. Must be patient and have some experience working with children ages 6-12yrs. Must have your own or reliable transportation

INTERNSHIP: You can use work hours towards an internship requirement as well. We will authorize all necessary paperwork for that.

$520 per week (includes $26 for camp set up). The work week is 8am-4pm, Monday-Friday. Camp set up will be every week on Wednesday or Thursday, 4-6pm

Summer camp weeks: Weeks of June 8-12, June 15-19, June 22-26, July 6-10, July 13-17, July 20-24, July 27-31

We are looking for folks who:

· Enjoy working with children

· Have some experience working with and leading a group of children

· Want to help campers have a great summer as they learn Art

· Are reliable & hard working; have reliable transportation

Daily responsibilities include:

· Supervising campers

· Implementing provided lessons (all lessons, materials & supplies are provided)

· Keeping kids engaged, while maintaining a safe environment

· Have fun with what you are doing

· Being on time every day for your required shifts (you are scheduled by the week, so you work a whole week (Monday-Friday) for the weeks you are scheduled
