Daycare Director
Pay: $33,521.00 - $43,061.00 per year

Job Title: Director
Job Summary: A director has the primary responsibility to manage the center in a safe and effective manner. Also to make sure the center meets Minimum Standards and Licensing Codes. The director reports directly to the owner.
Qualifications:
1. High School diploma
2. At least 21 years of age
3. Must complete a criminal background check
4. First aid and CPR certified
5. Must have had at least 2 years of experience in childcare
6. 30 training hours
7. Directors Certificate
Responsibilities:
1. To make sure all the children’s files are up to date.
2. Make sure that the teachers on staff for the day are in ratio in the classrooms.
3. To make sure that every classroom and van has a first aid kit available.
4. Fire drills are to be done by me every month.
5. Keep track of all infant and toddlers feeding charts.
6. Make sure that the allergy list is posted in each classroom
7. The daycare director must ensure that all safety, fire and educational regulations and requirements are met to maintain the license of the daycare facility.
8. Hiring loving and caring teachers
9. Having a good parent relationship with all of the parents in the center.
10. Keeping service records on all vehicles every time someone performs a service
11. Make menus for the month and grocery store runs as needed for center
12. I will make sure that attendance is turned in on time
13. I will complete payroll every Wed that checks are due
