$18.78-$26.03, depending on year in school and experience.

Job Description: 

Students will support a team of scientists and engineers working on water resource investigations on local, regional, and national scales. Level of involvement will depend on skills and experience.  Students will be expected to perform or assist with any of the following: be involved in field-related data collection activities and lab-related activities; compile, query, and maintain groundwater and surface water records in scientific databases to evaluate water quality, water availability, and water use at local and regional scales;.  Additional duties may include review scientific literature and reports; prepare reports of findings, tables, and graphs for use in technical reports and presentations; perform geospatial analyses and prepare map products.

Skills: 

1. Knowledge of Office365 software required.  

2. Coursework or experience with water resources and GIS desirable.   

3. Database and scientific programming (e.g., R or Python) experience desirable.  

4. Basic understanding of chemical principles and laboratory safety procedures helpful.
