Financial Advisor Associate

We’re looking for a driven Financial Advisor Associate to be the tip of the spear in our wealth management expansion. This is not a back-office support role — you’ll be on the front lines, building relationships with RIAs, independent wealth managers, and boutique hedge funds who are looking for an edge. You’ll introduce them to Amaltash’s AI-powered strategy marketplace and help them integrate institutional-grade quantitative strategies into their client portfolios. Description

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct high-volume outreach (100+ touchpoints/day) to RIAs, wealth managers, and small hedge funds via calls, emails, and LinkedIn
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified prospects using CRM tools, tracking every interaction from first contact to onboarding
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations of the Amaltash platform, tailoring the pitch to each prospect’s investment philosophy and client base
  • Guide new clients through the onboarding process — from account setup to first strategy deployment
  • Maintain and deepen relationships with onboarded clients through regular portfolio reviews, strategy performance updates, and proactive check-ins
  • Collaborate with the product and strategy teams to relay client feedback and identify new strategy opportunities
  • Track and report on key metrics: outreach volume, conversion rates, AUM onboarded, and client satisfaction
  • Represent Amaltash at industry events, conferences, and networking functions

 

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or a client-facing advisory role
  • Proven track record of high-volume client prospecting and relationship building
  • Deep understanding of the RIA and independent wealth management ecosystem
  • Comfortable making 100+ cold calls per day and turning rejection into opportunity
  • Excellent communicator who can simplify complex quantitative strategies for non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial energy — you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Familiarity with algorithmic trading, quantitative strategies, or fintech platforms is a major plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field preferred

 

Required Licenses & Certifications

  • FINRA Series 65 or Series 7+66 preferred — gives you immediate credibility in conversations with advisors and may be required as the role evolves
  • Familiarity with the RIA, wealth management, and hedge fund ecosystem is required — you need to speak the language fluently
  • Must be able to discuss portfolio construction, risk parameters, and strategy performance intelligently with licensed professionals
  • CFP, CFA Level I+, or CAIA designations are a strong plus
  • Prior experience at a wirehouse, RIA, broker-dealer, or fintech serving the advisory channel is strongly preferred

 

Compensation & Benefits

  • $55,000 annualized base salary during the 3-month contract period (W-2, not 1099)
  • Upon conversion to full-time: $65,000-$80,000 base salary depending on performance tier achieved during contract period
  • Ongoing commission on AUM you source — you eat what you kill, and the upside is uncapped
