Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 (depending on experience)
Job Description
Dedicated Senior IT Specialist to support firm’s growing technology needs across San Francisco and New York offices. A successful candidate has earned their bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field, 3-7 years of experience in a similar or related role within a professional services environment or IT consulting firm. Key enterprise-level application experience: Microsoft 365, Sharepoint; Windows systems, security systems; outsourced IT providers.
The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and a strong problem-solver with excellent communication skills. They should be comfortable supporting the firm’s professionals and staff in a fast-paced environment and capable of delivering responsive, high-quality support. Success in this position requires the ability to work both independently and in collaboration with the firm’s MSP, taking ownership of day-to-day IT support while helping ensure a seamless technology experience across both offices.
Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:
- Troubleshooting for attorneys and staff across both offices, including hardware, software, and user support
- Primary on-site IT contact in San Francisco and coordinate support for the New York office
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of firm employees (computer and network setup, access, and security protocols)
- Partner closely with firm’s MSP to manage infrastructure, security, system updates, and escalations
- Troubleshoot issues across devices, applications, and conferencing/AV systems•Support legal-specific applications (i.e., document management and time/billing systems)
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, including user accounts, devices, and access
- Assist with system monitoring, documentation, and inventory management, and support security best practices in collaboration with the MS
- Provide technology support for trial teams, including preparation and coordination of equipment, software, and connectivity
- Coordinate with external vendors to support IT operations, projects, and troubleshooting as needed
- Perform other miscellaneous IT tasks and special projects as needed
