Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: In-Person + Virtual)
Position Type: Part-Time Internship (10–20 hours/week)
Compensation: Stipend and/or Academic Credit Available

Position Overview
TFGF is seeking compassionate, emotionally intelligent, and purpose-driven interns to support our Beyond Fatherless Peer Groups across the Atlanta area.
This is not a typical internship—this is hands-on, life-changing work that directly impacts children, families, and communities.
Interns will gain real-world experience in:
- Trauma-informed care
- Group facilitation support
- Family systems and dynamics
- Nonprofit program development
- Community engagement and outreach
Internship Tracks (Choose One or Hybrid)
1. Peer Group Facilitation Intern
- Assist with weekly peer group sessions
- Support participant engagement and check-ins
- Help maintain a safe and supportive group environment
2. Family Outreach & Intake Intern
- Assist with onboarding new participants
- Support intake processes and follow-ups
- Connect families with resources and services
3. Program Evaluation & Data Intern
- Track attendance, engagement, and outcomes
- Assist in reporting program impact
- Help develop surveys and feedback tools
4. Media & Community Engagement Intern
- Create content for social media and outreach campaigns
- Assist with event promotion and community awareness
- Capture and share program impact stories
Key Responsibilities
- Support weekly Beyond Fatherless Peer Group sessions
- Assist with administrative and program coordination tasks
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision
- Engage with community partners and outreach initiatives

Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a college/university
- Preferred majors: Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Public Health, Education, Criminal Justice, Communications, or related fields
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for helping children and families
- Ability to handle sensitive topics with maturity and care
- Reliable, organized, and committed

- Cultural awareness and community sensitivity
- Interest in fatherhood advocacy, family systems, or healing work
Requirements
- Background check (required for roles working with minors)
- Confidentiality agreement
- Completion of TFGF onboarding and training
