Human Resources Intern

We are currently seeking a seasonal HR Intern to support our Human Resources Business Partner in Scarsdale, NY, offering flexible part-time or full-time hours.
Job Summary:
The HR Intern will provide vital administrative and recruitment support to the HRBP. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in HR operations, talent acquisition, onboarding, and compliance. The intern will work closely with the HRBP to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations while learning foundational HR practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the HRBP with a focus on organization, accuracy, and data management
- Maintain and update employee records across shared drives and HRIS systems
- Source candidates for open positions and support recruitment efforts
- Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interview scheduling
- Complete, track, and maintain I-9 documentation and new hire paperwork
- Follow up with employees regarding onboarding requirements and HR documentation
- Support job postings and candidate communication throughout the hiring process
- Assist with special HR projects and general day-to-day HR operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field..
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Comfortable with data entry and document management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with HRIS, ATS systems, or shared drives is a plus.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and eager to learn HR processes in a supportive environment.
